Why can't the Pistons stop Dwayne Wade?

I'm a Pistons fan, and everytime I watch Heat-Pistons since 2006, I am convinced that no Detroit player/scheme/coach can slow Wade. In a completely non technical analysis, I would assume that's because:

  • We don't have anyone who is Wade's size and quickness
  • We're not a particularly athletic team
  • It's a mental thing - ever since he tore our heart out during the Championship year, he's had our number

I may be wrong about his success against the Pistons, but I somehow doubt it. I would love someone to explain this to me in-depth. Thanks.
