Well the Miami HEAT won their first pre-season game versus the Detroit Pistons. I just wanted to jot down a few bullets that I noticed while watching the game.
- Good team defense
- Defense creating offense is the new motto
- New guys buying into the HEAT defensive philosophy
- Pittman 20lbs lighter and making an impact
- Chalmers with good decision making
- James Jones looking like his old self; knocking down open shots and not hesitating
- Minimal turnovers
- Even with Wade out we have enough talent with Bosh and LeBron out there to win
- Roster versatility: Chalmers/Arroyo on floor at same time, Bosh moving to the 5 spot, Lebron James running the point at times
