What is it with guys who are washed up feeling like they can just run their mouth's about the Heat while they are down? Of course as soon as the Heat go on a 8 game winning streak all the haters are gonna act like 2 bit whores and say they were on our side the whole time.
T-Mac, the guy who famously has NEVER led a team past the 1st round of the playoffs, had this to say to ESPN:
- "[Chicago] was a better decision, a better place for LeBron," McGrady told the Daily News. "You can't just go somewhere and have that type of chemistry he had in Cleveland."
So if he couldn't go anywhere and have the type of Cleveland chemistry, then why are you assuming he would have better chemistry in Chicago?
- "When they're on the court together, they're terrible," McGrady told the paper. "Him and D-Wade don't complement each other. They're somewhat the same type of players, 'Bron and D-Wade. ... Both of those guys need the ball, and they don't shoot the ball like Ray Allen. That's why they're having trouble scoring in the halfcourt, because they can't get a rhythm, because one of them is dominating the ball. That guy might be getting off, but the other guy [isn't].
Right... Because two swingmen / scorers have never done well together unless one of them is a shooter right? Wrong. If T-Mac had any brains by talking about Chicago then he should have been reminded that Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen did rather well together and NEITHER of those two could shoot like Ray Allen either.
- "That's why when they're on the court together, they're terrible. They're rhythm players that need the ball. I'm like that. I can't stand out there and catch and shoot. I've never been a guy that sits out there waiting for the ball to come to me."
Yeah... you've just been a guy that runs his mouth and can't get a team out of the 1st round of the playoffs. T-Mac reminds me of a guy that tries to act cool in order to not feel like the failure about his career and it shows. Grow up and keep your mouth shut T-Mac, come talk to us when you actually lead you team to anything worthwhile (as in never)
