I know. I know. I'm in Peninsula is mightier. Where Dwyane Wade leaving is not an option. But we should brace for the worst. What if Dwyane Wade does (forgive me) leave Miami?
When the unthinkable happens, what are the chances that we can entice other big FAs to sign here? Slim to none. But there's plenty of decent FAs out there.
The Heat should probably sign gunners on the perimeter like Josh Howard and Nate Robinson and make Beasley the first option. Imagine Beasley as a first option. He could be putting up his college numbers and we may still have a chance at making the playoffs.
Next, they should load up on draft picks so they could fill the void in the SG and our C spot needs a little youth.
The roster should look a little like this:
Position: Starter/Backup
C: JO/Anthony
PF: Beasley/Haslem
SF: Howard/DW1
SG: QRich/Cook
PG: Chalmers/Nate
Hopefully Beasley can take the reins from DWade and lead the Heat back to greatness if it would happen that Wade would leave. Hopefully we can see "College Beasley" play for the Heat. Hopefully Beasley can do all that.
Yep. I'm a huge Beasley fan.
P.S. This is my first post ever.
