After Day 2 of training camp, the theme remained the same; Defense. Since taking over as head coach, Erik Spoelstra has emphasized the importance of defense, so it makes sense that he's starting off the season by working that end of the floor. Also, when you think about the offensive firepower on this roster there shouldn't be much of a problem scoring points.
D-Wade and Chris Bosh both had nice blocks, and Bosh's defense appears to be as advertised. The overall mood of the team is still pretty intense on the court. I have nothing to compare it to because I've never been to an NBA training camp, and this one I'm taking accounts from others via text messages and twitter feeds from people who are there.
I'm getting us a first person account of what's going on up there. Watch out for that in the next day or so.
