Tuscaby Pistoia continues to chase the LegaDue playoffs. The club from Central Italy recorded its third win over the last five games with a victory over Tezenis Verona at home, 75-70, this Sunday, March 27th, improving to 12-13 and remaining at 10th place in the LegaDue standings.

Miami Heat’s Jarvis Varnado started and logged 33 minutes of playing time. Varnado scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line, grabbed eight boards, drew seven personal fouls, blocked two shots and dished an assist.

Varnado has done well playing in Italy’s second division. Over 25 games, he has logged 30.7 minutes-per-game, 15.3 points-per-game on 55.2% shooting, 8.7 rebounds-per-game and 2.7 blocks-per-game.
