In a case you haven't heard yet...
Today it's confirmed that he (Pat Riley) has indeed won the Executive of the Year Award presented by Sporting News.
Riley received 14 of 37 votes from NBA general managers, assistant G.M.s, and head coaches which was enough to surpass Chicago Bulls G.M. Gar Forman with 11 votes and and Denver Nuggets VP of basketball operations Massai Ujiri with five. Quite frankly the decision should have been unanimous.

Pat Riley has been named NBA's 2010-11 Executive od the Year. It should be obvious, after off-season 2010. Getting LeBron James and Chris Bosh, while re-signing Dwyane Wade is impressive. 3 franchise players, 3 superstars of the NBA. Definietly, Pat deserved it. How about, Pat, raising the Larry O'Brien trophy again, this time after 2011 Finals?
