Dwyane Wade is coming along nicely while waiting for his body to heal up. It's been almost two weeks since Wade has played in a game, last appearing in the Heat's loss at Denver. Over the course of the month-old season, Wade has dealt with several different injuries, with a bruised foot and sprained ankle being the most serious. Without Wade the Heat have been able to find ways to keep coming away with victories, now 7-1 in games that the former Finals MVP has missed.
Regardless, it will be a welcomed sight for Erik Spoelstra and his team when D-Wade is back in a Heat uniform as opposed to a fancy 3-piece suit. It's starting to look like those dreams will soon become a reality. Wade was back on the court on Tuesday, participating in parts of the Heat's shootaround. He is going to travel with the team to Detroit, though its unknown whether or not he'll dress for the game.
Either way, it's nice to know that D-Wade is close to returning. The more time this team has on the court together, the better they will be when the playoffs roll around, and that the #1 priority.
