The Heat jumped on the Pistons early in this game and nothing changed throughout the first half.
It's been a very positive first half for Miami solely on the revelation that Dwyane Wade looked very sharp in 14 minutes. The 30-year-old shooting guard had 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting, and made all three of his free throws.
Wade even scored on a vintage bank shot off a spin move in the post, something Heat fans are accustomed to seeing from a healthy Wade.
Chris Bosh and Lebron James had nine points each, and Ray Allen and Garrett Temple added seven.
In terms of roster battles, Josh Harrellson and Dexter Pittman each played six minutes but Mickell Gladness hasn't entered the game. Harrellson had a few deflections, four rebounds, and made a 3-pointer in semi-transition. Pittman had three boards and didn't' attempt a field goal.
