LeBron James - Kevin C. Cox
The Miami Heat player earned the honor for notching a double-double in all four games last week.
LeBron James was named the NBA's Eastern Conference Player of the Week today for helping the Miami Heat go 3-1 last week, with wins over Phoenix, Brooklyn and Atlanta and the loss coming against Memphis. The Denver Nuggets' Kenneth Faried was the West's Player of the Week.
James shot 57 percent from the field last week and averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. James' 11 rebounds stands as tied for the best rebound average in the entire Eastern Conference -- Kris Humphries matches it. It's quite amazing that Miami has a small forward who averages more rebounds than almost all power forwards and centers in the East. The three-time MVP also nailed a clutch shot against the Hawks in the final minute to secure Miami's only road win.
