Star guard injured his left foot during Monday's thrilling victory against the Houston Rockets.
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is suffering from a sprained left foot and is now a game-time decision against the Los Angeles Clippers when the two teams face off Wednesday night at 10:30 PM.
Wade injured himself when he landed awkwardly on fellow teammate Chris Bosh's foot in the third quarter of their 113-110 victory over the Houston Rockets. Wade hopped around while grimacing and immediately sat down on the bench after coach Erik Spoelstra called a timeout. Wade eventually returned to the game but was overshadowed by the late-game heroics from LeBron James for the hard-fought win.
"Hopefully there's nothing wrong and I'll just see if I'm able to put the pressure on I need to to play," Wade told reporters today. "Personally I think it's a deep bruise. I have to make sure it's nothing more than that because it's on the bone.
"I want to play, it's a prime-time game," Wade said, "but I want to feel good."
