Heat Final Score: Heat drop Nets 103-73

Mike Ehrmann

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade efficiently scored over 20 points and the Heat blew out an opponent for the second game in a row.

The fourth quarter has been very quiet in the American Airlines Arena lately.

For the second consecutive game, the Heat uneventfully played out the last quarter with a huge lead, this time defeating the Brooklyn Nets 103-73 to go to 4-1 on the season. They beat the Phoenix Suns by 25 points on Monday, and the Nets did nothing to slow down the momentum in the Heat's best defensive performance of the season.

The Heat held the Nets to 37.5 percent shooting from the field, including an atrocious 3-of-21 from beyond the arc.

LeBron James scored 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting, to go along with 12 boards and eight assists, and Dwyane Wade led Miami with 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field.

The Nets inefficiency can be best encapsulated by the fact that Deron Williams and Joe Johnson, their star studded backcourt, combined for zero free throw attempts on the night.
