The Miami Heat issued a statement via twitter on All Star Chris Bosh, indicating that the MRI taken revealed a strained abdominal muscle. Chris Bosh is listed as out indefinitely.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat will host the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday and will have to do so 1 man short of their big 3.

Bosh was originally listed as day to day following their Sunday victory but the MRI updated his status to "Out Indefinitely" providing a cloud of uncertainty going forward.

It is unclear who Erik Spoelstra will start in Bosh's place but one can expect a heavier load of minutes for Udonis Haslem, Joel Anthony and Ronny Turiaf. Lebron James should also see extended minutes at the power forward position when the Heat elect to play small.

LeBron James commented on the possible absence of Chris Bosh following the Heat's victory on Sunday:

"The best thing about our team is that we guys that stay ready. When somsone goes down, we have someone to step up" - James Said
