For the 12th year, NBA.com has surveyed NBA general managers of over 50 questions pertaining to the upcoming season. Managers are not permitted to vote for their own team or personnel in the questions. And this year, the Heat were again favorable in the voting.

The Heat were named to favorite to win the championship at 75.9%. They were also picked to win their division by every owner. LeBron James was picked at 69% to win the MVP. He was picked first at 89% for the player they would like to start a franchise with, first at 66% for the player causing the most adjustments to a game plan, and first as the best small forward in the game. James was also selected as the second best perimeter defender, most athletic, most dangerous in the open floor, and best finisher at the rim.
Dwyane Wade was knocked to the 6th best shooting guard in the league. Shane Battier was selected #3 as a current player to make the best coach. Other Heat players found themselves within the mix as well as the team in general and coach Spoelstra.
There's a lot of confidence heading into the season not only from the Heat, but also from around the league.
The Heat open the season one week from today against the Chicago Bulls.
