LeBron James named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season

This is James’ second Player of the Week honor this season after previously earning the accolades for the week ending on November 17.

The NBA announced today that Miami Heat forward LeBron James has won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, November 25, through Sunday, December 1.

James led the HEAT to a perfect 4-0 record as part of their current ten-game winning streak. He averaged a league-high 29.0 points, to go along with 6.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.50 steals while shooting 60.3 percent from the field, 46.7 percent from three-point range and 86.8 percent from the foul line.

This marks the 45th time LeBron has won this award in his career (most ever in the NBA), including 19 times as a Heat player. This is the 48th time a Heat player has won the award.

Nov. 25 vs. Phoenix: Tallied 35 points, five rebounds and four assists in a 107-92 win over the Suns.
Nov. 27 @ Cleveland: Posted 28 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals during a 95-84 win over the Cavs.
Nov. 29 @ Toronto: Recorded 27 points and six rebounds in a 90-83 win over the Raptors.
Dec. 1 vs. Charlotte: Contributed 26 points and five boards in a 99-98 win over the Bobcats.

Kevin Durant was named the Western Conference Player of the Week.

Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Denver's Ty Lawson, Detroit's Andre Drummond, Golden State's Stephen Curry, Houston's Chandler Parsons, Indiana's Paul George and Washington's John Wall.
