CELTICS' FALSE BRAVADO

There he goes again ...

Those four words may become a fitting epitaph for Jason Terry (JET).

In a recent interview, the ever-effusive trey-happy guard for the Mavericks Celtics once again demonstrated that discretion is not the better part of valor.

“Not really impressed with it or anything that they do,” yelped Terry, adding his inestimable experience once more to the collective wisdom of humankind.

The remainder of the Celtics seemed equally unimpressed.

“I don’t really care. [...] , whether they have a streak or coming off a loss.", noted Doc Rivers.

“I hope they lose every game the rest of the season.", added Paul Pierce, in synchronicity with his partners in grime.

It is shameful that such a historically storied club would not be more gracious to one of its better rivals. However, said commentary is perfunctory and justifiably spills out of the current uninspiring Celtics squad that is both green in uniform and envy. As a consequence, the HEAT will surely index off Boston's wild verbal gesticulations.

At this point, it is clear that every team wants to be the team that ends the Miami's historic winning streak. It is also equally clear that, win or lose, this HEAT team will rise to the challenge.

Jason Eugene Terry, expect a most interesting game on Monday.

...but first, Toronto.
