LeBron James has won yet another MVP, to the surprise of absolutely....no one. The most surprising aspect of the MVP race is the fact that he didn't win unanimously. Can you believe someone had the audacity to vote for anyone else? And even if someone did vote for ANYONE else besides LeBron that it would be Kevin Durant and not Carmelo Anthony?
LeBron "King" James averaged 26.8 ppg, 7.3 apg, 8 rpg, and led the league in efficiency! LeBron James has won 4 MVP's in only 5 years, that is what you call pure dominance of a sport, if there was any ever. With tough competition in the MVP race such as Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant, it was pretty much known since March who would win the award. So far this season and playoffs LeBron has been playing out of his mind and it looks as if it's effortless and easy to him, which makes it special to watch. James also led Miami to a incredible 27 game winning streak, where he played flawlessly over that stretch. Winning his 4th MVP puts James in a category with the greats such as Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and Michael Jordan to own at least 4 of the awards.
Congratulations to LeBron James on receiving not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 MVP awards in his career so far!
