The Heat start the second round tonight vs their conference rivals, the Chicago Bulls. The Chicago Bulls will be again short handed, as they have been all season. Luol Deng will not play in game 1 vs Miami due to spinal tap complications. Deng has been suffering from leakage of spinal fluid and several discomforting side effects after receiving a spinal tap in his lower back. The already short handed Bulls somehow found a way to win game 7 without Deng, and with a team who has been recently hit by the flu bug. The Bulls have plenty heart and fight, but without Deng 100% healthy in this series vs the defending champions it will be very difficult for them to win. There's no implication on when Deng will be returning to the lineup, but the Bulls can't afford for anymore bodies to not be healthy. Also, recently former MVP, Derrick Rose announced this week that he will be sitting out the rest of the playoffs (SHOCKER!). Hopefully the Bulls can get as healthy as possible, but either way they will compete, because that's just who they are and give the Miami Heat all they've got. If they don't get Deng back anytime soon, look for Nate Robinson to be the leader if not by play it will be by heart, and he will not allow the Bulls to give up.
