While an official announcement has not been made by the team, veteran guard Roger Mason Jr. has tweeted out that he has signed with the Miami HEAT.
The training camp roster now stands at 19 after the team also signed Larry Drew II earlier this week.
Mason, a 6'-5" journeyman who is now 33, spent last season with the New Orleans Hornets. He is perhaps most well-known for his stint with the San Antonio Spurs from 2008-10 where he averaged a career high 11.8 points during the 2008-9 season. He also played for the New York Knicks and Washington Wizards before his stint with the Hornets.
Teams can carry a maximum of 20 players into training camp and 15 for the regular season.
