LeBron continues to lead NBA in votes after third returns of 2014 All-Star Balloting

Kevin Durant is in second place overall and is behind by only 21,854 votes.

The third returns for NBA All-Star Balloting 2014 has been released by the NBA today and Miami Heat forward LeBron James is hanging on to the overall lead with 1,076,063 votes.

However, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has closed the gap in second place, behind by just 21,854 votes. Paul George trails LeBron in the Eastern Conference and the injured Kobe Bryant is in second place out West.

Dwyane Wade leads all East guards with 718,109 votes. Bosh is in fifth place among frontcourt players and will have to wait for the coaches to decide who will be named as reserves.

Voting ends on Monday, Jan. 20, and starters will be announced live on TNT on Thursday, January 23 on Inside the NBA prior to the tipoff of the Los Angeles Lakers @ Miami Heat game (8:00 PM tipoff). The 63rd NBA All-Star Game will be shown on TNT from New Orleans Arena on Sunday, February 16, 2014.
