Time to panic?
The hope after seeing him warming up with teammate LeBron James before the Memphis Grizzlies game would be that he was close to returning and would do so in the most important game left for the HEAT. Whoever wins tonight will have sole possession of the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference with precious few games left.
Coach Erik Spoelstra disclosed the news that Wade would be out for his ninth straight game after this morning's shootaround.
At this point, LeBron James has played more minutes this season with Wade on the bench than playing together on the court. Wade will be missing his 28th game of the season. The hamstring injury is believed have happened in their last game against the Pacers two weeks ago.
A badly-needed Udonis Haslem will thankfully make his return and his size will be needed against the Pacers frontline.
Birdman will also be making his return after he was a "limited participant in this morning's team shootaround and is listed as a game time decision for tonight", according to the team's Twitter feed.
Greg Oden is also officially ruled out for tonight's game due to back spasms.
The Indiana Pacers rested all five of their starters against the Milwaukee Bucks and it nearly blew up in their face if it wasn't for a last-second basket. All of their starters will be returning for tonight's game at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
