MIAMI, FL – The Miami HEAT and its newest corporate partner, Kumho Tire USA, are set to launch a new and exciting interactive fan zone at the AmericanAirlines Arena on December 28th before the HEAT take on the New York Knicks. The Kumho Fan Zone is located on the 300 Level in a newly renovated area outside of Section 304. HEAT fans will be encouraged to compete with one another in the Kumho Fan Zone, which features a gaming wall with four 60’ SONY HDTVs as well as the latest SONY Playstation and gaming software. "The Kumho Fan Zone is an area designed specifically to engage HEAT fans of all ages and we hope it will become a signature area and activity for our fans in Uptown," said Eric Woolworth, President of The HEAT Group’s Business Operations. The Miami HEAT Dancers and Burnie the Mascot will make regular appearances in the Kumho Fan Zone to interact with fans. A grand opening activity to unveil the Kumho Fan Zone will take place on December 28th at 5:30 p.m. prior to tip off.
