Quick Notes:

  • Heat are looking to extinguish their 4-game losing streak against the hobbled and youthful Raptors. Miami is back in action after three days rest from their crumbling performance against the Hawks while the Raptors suffered their 6th straight loss last night against the Orlando Magic.
  • Chris Bosh, seemingly the most irreplaceable member of the big three, is doubtful to play while still nursing his ankle injury. Sitting out is a wise choice with 4 days rest and no game until next Thursday in NY. The absence from the big man and a height-challenged opponent could open the speed flood gates for the much requested small ball.
  • Miami is 1-4 when one of the three stars is missing.
  • Look out for flights from youngster Demar Derozan, the replacement for Brandon Jennings for the All-Start Dunk Contest.
  • Don't hold your breath for Peja Stojakovic's triple rainbows in South Beach. He was recently waived by the Raptors. Yes he was on the Raptors. Of course, he will be signing with the Dallas Mavericks. Mavs will trade away Alexis Ajinca to open up a spot on the roster.
