It's time for our 3rd installment of the Erik Spoelstra approval rating poll. Last time we did one of these the Heat had just began turning things around from their tough start to the season. They were 17-8 and beginning to roll, but 8 straight wins had all of us feeling pretty awesome about the Heat for the first time since the beginning of the season, and it showed in the 39% jump in approval for Spoelstra.

In the 3 weeks since the last poll Miami has gone 11-1. They are still showing signs of growing pains but that isn't stopping them from winning games. Slowly but surely Coach Spo is implementing his offensive playbook, but what we've seen lately is that when its crunch time he calls the plays that are proven to work...the ones that put the ball in Dwyane Wade's hands.

I think the most impressive things that Spoelstra has this team doing are on the defensive end of the court. They are a top team in pretty much every defensive category, and keep in mind that they often have lapses for a quarter or two before turning on the shutdown D. The consistency will come over time but what they are doing now is pretty damn impressive.

Weeks 1-3: 53% approval

Weeks 4-7: 92% approval
