Big 3's exhibition game to be televised and streamed live

While news regarding the NBA lockout has been pretty upsetting lately, at least info coming out about Saturday night's all-star exhibition continues to be on the good side.  The site hosting the event, Florida International University, announced that the game will be televised locally in South Florida as well as streamed live online for anyone who won't be able to catch it on TV.

The game will be played at FIU's 5,000-seat facility, U.S. Century Bank Arena, and tipoff for the contest has been changed, pushed back from 7pm to the new time of 7:30.  It will be broadcast on South Florida's Channel 33 (WBFS), with Jorge Sedano and Jim Berry on the call.  I'm very excited to hear Jorge doing the game; he's done a great job in the past on FIU football games and general sports reporting for CBS-4 here in Miami.

The online stream of the game will be available (for free) in its entirety on CBSMiami.com.  As I mentioned, the start of the game was changed from 7 to 7:30, and if you are lucky enough to be going then the doors will be open at 5:30.   In regard to the television broadcast, FIU basketball coach and former NBA superstar Isiah Thomas released this statement:

"I am pleased to have CBS 4 as a broadcast partner for the South Florida All-Star Classic. This is a great event and this partnership will give our fans, who were unable to buy a ticket to the sold-out event, an opportunity to watch some of the world's best basketball players in action."
