It's been a rough season for the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade. The first couple months saw him plagued by lower-body injuries, the worst of which coming in the form of a severely sprained ankle suffered during a road game in Denver. Even though Dwyane played in nine of the Heat's first twelve games this season, he only scored 20 or more points in 4 of those games. Wade just didn't look like himself, and it was pretty obvious that the injuries were holding him back.
Since coming back from his six game absence due to the ankle sprain, Wade has looked more and more like his usual self. Last night in Atlanta D-Wade played in his tenth straight game, and in those games he has shown that there is plenty of gas left in his tank. He has scored 20 or more points in nine of the ten games, and of those ten the Heat have won eight.
Wade is averaging 24.5 points, 4.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 1.7 steals in his last ten games, shooting 52.3% from the field and 87.5% from the free throw line.
