The NBA announced on Thursday that Dwyane Wade and LeBron James would represent the Eastern Conference as starters in this months All-Star Game. They will be joined by Orlando center Dwight Howard, Bulls guard Derrick Rose and Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony. The other member of the Heat's Big 3 will have to wait until next week before he is officially part of the Eastern Conference team.
This marks the 8th time for each Dwyane Wade and LeBron James that they have been chosen to represent the East in the annual matchup of the leagues best players. Wade has averaged 16.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.71 steals in 25.4 minutes. LeBron has averaged 24.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.57 steals in 30.7 minutes.
