Hot Hot Hoops was in Washington DC to experience first-hand what went down as President Barack Obama welcomed the world champion Miami Heat to the White House.
Many of the Heat executives and coaching staff, as well as Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem were able to meet President George W. Bush when they won the 2006 championship, this one had a different flavor to it, with Obama being such a huge NBA fan and acknowledging his friendships with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.
While Obama lamented his beloved Chicago Bulls were not in the NBA Finals, he was more than happy to celebrate the well-deserved championship won by the Miami Heat.
