Heat coach Erik Spoelstra expected to shift his rotation on second night of a back-to-back set.

The Miami Heat are off to a nice 2-0 start in the preseason with victories over the Atlanta Hawks and the Detroit Pistons. Now they will be playing a "home game" at the Sprint Center in Kansas City to host the Charlotte Bobcats.

Coach Erik Spoelstra will continue to manage minutes for his regulars while rotating through the reserves to give them all some minutes. Udonis Haslem and Greg Oden have not played this preseason while Mario Chalmers, Roger Mason Jr., Joel Anthony and Larry Drew II were all held out of Thursday's game versus the Pistons. Michael Beasley saw his first action of the preseason with an impressive offensive display in limited minutes while Dwyane Wade also made his 2013 preseason debut.

Roster cuts are still looming for a team carrying a full roster of 20 players, with 13 guaranteed contracts in place and likely two roster spots available for the regular season.

The Bobcats are expected to continue to struggle to get out of the bottom of the standings this season, with free agent acquisition Al Jefferson highlighting their offseason along with the surprise drafting of #4 pick Cody Zeller.

The game begins at 8:30 p.m. tonight and will be the second and final preseason game that is not televised but you can listen in on The Ticket (790 AM, 104.3 FM).
