Greg Hardy says he would "dominate" LeBron James 1 on 1

New, comments

Watch out, LeBron. You might have some competition for the "best basketball player alive" crown, and it comes from an unexpected, somewhat unknown name: Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy.

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James has his fans, and he has his haters. Some believe he has or will eventually surpass the great Michael Jordan, meanwhile some believe he is overrated, and will never be like Mike.

Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy appears to not be overly crazy of LeBron's basketball talent, as he recently came out and said he would beat King James in a game of 1 on 1...in basketball that is.

"How should I answer this question? I would dominate that dude, hands down. guaranteed win", Hardy said.

Lol.

There is a different between being confident in yourself, and just being straight up delusional.

We're talking about LeBron James here, not some random guy in the gym. Greg Hardy is a sensational athlete, and I don't doubt the fact he can play basketball, but against LeBron James?

There might not be a human being on earth today that could beat LeBron James 1 on 1 (put down your pitchforks Kobe Bryant fans.)

Unless you are an avid NFL fan, you might not even know the name Greg Hardy. In Hardy's defense, he is a great football talent. So far this season, Hardy has 21 tackles and 3 sacks, last year he finished with 11 sacks.

"I'm not saying I would beast him, but I would definitely win, I got a good shot, I got good handles, I got good size. I feel that we match up pretty well", said Hardy.

Greg Hardy might have been joking, or just trying to draw attention to himself. Which is likely, or he might have been serious. Which is another reason to say NO to drugs, kids.
