New, comments

Miami heads back to the house for the second half of a home-and-home series with their only in-state foe. Will the Magic put on a better show on the road than they did at home?

USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Heat will host the Orlando Magic tonight at the AAA, at 7:30 PM EDT for the second of four contests between them this season. They'll meet again in Orlando on January 4th and in Miami on March 1st. The HEAT have won their last five by an average of 18 points per game, and conclude this short two-game homestand on Monday night against the Phoenix Suns. Orlando will also face Phoenix in their next contest, tomorrow night back in Orlando. They'll face the Hawks in Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Wednesday marked the last time the HEAT faced the Magic. Miami scored the first 16 points on their way to a resounding 120-92 victory. LeBron James led five HEAT players in double figures with 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Chris Bosh scored 18 on seven-of-10 shooting with five boards, James Jones went five-for-seven from deep, finishing with 17, and the point guard combination of Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers scored nine each with 13 assists between them. Arron Afflalo led all scorers with 30 (including seven-of-nine from beyond the arc) points, and Nikola Vucevic was an unexpected non-factor, fouling out with six points and six rebounds. * Full Recap * Box Score
