All they do is win, win, win. That has been the story for the world champion, Miami Heat. Needless to say, the Eastern Conference has become a one-sided race, with the Heat seemingly cemented as the top seed.
Dwyane Wade recently got some well deserved praise, winning Eastern Conference Player of the Week. I guess the NBA remembered that he was still in the NBA. Maybe Juwan Howard's historic reemergence shed some light on Flash and made people realize he really isn't that old.
Despite having the longest active winning streak, Lebron James and the Heat aren't too worried about it.
"It's not our goal. Our goal isn't to win games consecutive. Our goal is to win a championship. Right now, our goal is to get better each and every game, to continue to improve. That was never one of our goals coming into the season, see how many games we'd win in a row. Our goal is to win a championship and not take any shortcuts in that process." - James said
To be honest, tonight's game could be the one that the Heat lose. Not to say that the Atlanta Hawks are viable contenders but they have a very big frontcourt and could give the Heat some problems.
Let's see what happens.
