Save the weekend - LeBron James sets wedding date to marry Savannah Brinson

After much speculation and media outlets discussing the impending possibility of a LeBron James wedding, it appears that there is a date set for when the Miami Heat superstar will officially walk down the aisle with long time partner Savannah Brinson.

A copy of the couple's "Save the Date" has been made public instructing friends and family to make the weekend of September 13th - 15th available for their special event. And, plane tickets are in order for many since the lavish affair will be taking place in San Diego, California.

Not too many details are known yet, but one can expect the event to be the wedding of the year filled with NBA stars, Hollywood A-listers and the music world's finest.

LeBron proposed to Savannah at a party celebrating his 27th birthday and New Year's on January 1, 2012.
