Heat Preview: LeBron & Wade likely to sit as Miami hosts 76ers

With the Miami Heat cemented as the number one seed in the east, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have received some much needed games off. It's also opened the door for some reserves to finally shine.

Mike Miller. Filling in for Wade at shooting guard, Miller has been solid his last two starts, averaging 22 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4 assists, while shooting a staggering 11-18 from 3-point range.

Most of America is used to seeing Miller hobble up and down the court and grimace after he makes or misses a shot. But it appears, he's finally healthy (asterisk) and ready to display his versatile skill-set. Coach Spoelstra reminded the media of how talented Miller is:

"He is a big-time weapon that we have. He has absolutely bought into the sacrifice. You know the long season of an 82-game season, this is probably the healthiest he has ever been at this time of year and you see his value. He can strike it hot at any moment and go on a string of four, five, or six in a row." - said coach Spolestra.

In all seriousness, Chris Bosh has carried the load for the Heat recently and has done a great job of being the number one option on offense. Headed into the playoffs, I think it's good that Bosh has been given this kind of control and added confidence.

Barring injury and health concerns, the Heat's big three belief and level of confidence should be leaps in bounds over the competition.

The 76ers are likely out of the playoffs but still harbor a roster of decent talent and should make for a good game. Evan Turner has scored the ball well over his last four games and 1st time all star Jrue Holiday should be a lot to handle in the backcourt.

Enjoy!
