LeBron James to be on the cover of NBA 2K14 (UPDATE)

New, comments

LeBron James will get his first ever video game cover with the release of the new and highly anticipated NBA 2K14

2K Sports

Miami Heat star and 4-time MVP, LeBron James will grace the cover of the sport's best video game, NBA 2K14.

This is LeBron's first ever cover for a video game and he is excited to join up with 2K Sports and try to make this the best sports video game ever. The game will be released on October 1 for current generation platforms. Last year's edition was covered by Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, and Derrick Rose.

There aren't a whole lot of details concerning how 2K and LeBron will make this game different or special, but James will sure have a lot to say in making this game unique. Also, those who pre-order 2K14 will have access to the "King James Bonus Pack," which includes virtual currency, extra content on the "Path to Greatness," James unlocked in "Blacktop" mode, and an all-new James signature move.

For those of you who love video games, specifically basketball, you know that 2K is in a league of its own, and with James teaming up with them, it should be a great game.

LeBron has a few more things to finish on the hardwood before he can go all "Video Game James" on us. But keep an eye of 2K Sports as they continue to roll out the information on this game.
