Disclosure: Remember, even though FanDuel sponsors this post, all the opinions and insights are my own. FanDuel has given me a little bit of money to start playing already.
So here are my insights for you this week in FanDuel:
Best Night to Play
Wednesday, November 5. There are 12 NBA games on the schedule this night. This gives you the most reach in the players you want to play, and the Heat also play Charlotte. There are also 11 NBA games on Friday night.
Heat Player Notes
Remember, the Heat are nearing a brutal end to their schedule. If you choose to play any Heat players on Wednesday, that will be their 4th game in 5 nights, always a difficult way to predict how they will come out. The Heat play Tuesday against Houston, and Saturday against Minnesota. The Rockets are allowing only 91 PPG this season so far.
The Saturday game would be a good place to start Luol Deng for a bargain. He'll be going up against Corey Brewer and Shabazz Muhammed. Both are guys that get beat on defense regularly, and Deng has a knack for making guys like that pay with rebounds and easy baskets.
I would stay away from Josh McRoberts until he's fully back in the rotation. And I would also stay away from Dwyane Wade on Wednesday (4th game in 5 nights). All other Heat players can be productive based on how much you are willing to spend on them. I really like Chris Bosh on Saturday against Minnesota.
Best Matchup
Monday night, Chris Paul vs the Utah Jazz. Utah bolsters a young back court for their point guards and are giving up a lot of points per game. I expect Paul to carve them up for points and assists.
