Game Preview: Heat take on Nets in Brooklyn

Miami looks to gain a moral victory tonight with a win in Brooklyn, after dealing with many tough breaks this week.

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Miami's not doing so great.

Injuries are shaking up the team, and not for the better. With Josh McRoberts out indefinitely, and Chris Bosh out for an unspecified amount of time with a calf strain, the only guy the Heat can really depend on is Dwyane Wade. Unfortunately, Wade might also be sitting tonight as he battles illness (most likely the stomach bug that's been spreading through the league).

Last time Miami played the Nets, they were able to win shorthanded and fortunately Brook Lopez might be out tonight leaving us less vulnerability in the paint.

Miami really needs this one to get back on track, it'll be interesting to see how Coach Erik Spoelstra shakes things up.

Mandatory Nets Video

In the few Nets games I went to while I've been studying in New York, Jeffrey Gamblero was always present and a huge part of the Nets experience. There wasn't a time where he couldn't be seen dancing around and cheering on his team with great passion, he was truly a great fan.

We at Hot Hot Hoops, offer our sincerest condolences to his family, and the Brooklyn community. Barclays won't be the same without him.
