The Heat have fell victim to the injury bug recently and as a result have few available bodies in the bench that can make a lasting impact on the floor. With Chris Bosh out, Dwyane Wade has been carrying Miami's scoring load and it's likely that this has led to Miami recalling guard Andre Dawkins from the Skyforce.
Dawkins, has been playing extremely well in Sioux Falls, averaging 25.6 points, 2.4 assists, and 3.2 rebounds in 36 minutes per game. According the Miami's press release he set Sioux Falls single-game record for three point field goals with 12, and was just one short of the D-League record (13).
The Heat need scorers, and a reliable threat from beyond the arc will be be welcomed if he finds himself in the rotation. Coach Spoelstra has been meddling with the rotation consistently throughout the last few contests and there is a huge possibility that Dawkins finds himself in the lineup tonight against Boston.
