HHH Gamethread: Miami Heat Visit Atlanta Hawks

New, comments

After a convincing victory over their main Eastern Conference threat at home last night, the Heat travel to Atlanta to get it on with their possible first round opponent, the Hawks.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Last night, the Heat used an 18-point third quarter run to bury the Indiana Pacers. After a flight to Atlanta, they'll have a chance to pull away from them a little with a victory over the Hawks. After starting the season pretty strong, Atlanta hasn't had a second half of the season worth writing home about, losing 22 of their last 33 contests. Still they're holding on to the eighth and final playoff spot, and can clinch it with a win in any of their last three games.
