The charity drive's mission is for Miami Heat fans to support LeBron James by donating to the Boys and Girls Club, the same organization that benefited from the King's Decision in 2010 with the proceeds from the ESPN special raising more than $2.5 million.
Former Miami Dolphins linebacker and current WQAM radio personality Channing Crowder himself donated $1,000 to the cause.
"I appreciate the four years, and as a sports-talk radio guy it makes my job ten times more fun to have LeBron here," Crowder said. "We know he loves Boys and Girls Club because of the first decision.
"We want to let him know the fans do appreciate him minus all the haters out there."
Each and every donor will be entered into a drawing for 2 tickets to the Miami Heat home opener for the 2014-2015 season (where we will presumably see LeBron make his triumphant return to the AA Arena) as well as 2 tickets to the
"22nd Annual Hollywood Welcomes the Stars" event on October 16th, 2014 at the Westin Diplomat.
