Immediately after the news came in that LeBron James will be signing with the Cleveland Cavs, the chances of retaining Chris Bosh appear to be a lost cause for the Miami Heat.
The Houston Rockets will reportedly trade Jeremy Lin to the Los Angeles Lakers, creating enough cap space to sign Chris Bosh to the max of four years, $88 million and be able to match the Dallas Mavericks offer for restricted free agent Chandler Parsons in time.
The Rockets firmly believe they can sign Bosh away from the Heat and are moving quickly to get it done.
Chris Bosh will soon speak to coach Kevin McHale, moving closer to a commitment to the Rockets, source tells Yahoo.
