By now, more details have emerged from the Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union 1930's themed wedding.
Fun facts that we have learned include the hiring of hip-hop violinist Lee England Jr. to provide music, Gabrielle Union's BFF Essence Atkins officiating the ceremony, and guests being bused in from Fontainebleau Miami Beach to the private Chateau Artisan located in rural Redlands near Homestead (a nearly 45-minute drive from South Beach). Also, John Legend provided live music for the newlyweds as well as the guests.
A fun detail the couple added to their party was the use of themed bars that included the Battier Bar (Shane Battier) with a moonshine bar, Bar Melo (Carmelo Anthony), Bosh's Brewery (Chris Bosh) and Ray's Retirement Home (Ray Allen). There was also a "Cleveland, this Way!" bar, but unfortunately no details were shared on what this bar included.
There was no shortage of food with plenty of late night snacks like waffles, cupcakes and cookies. The Wade Union is now official and whether we receive more details or not is not important. The love between Wade and Union is reason enough to celebrate.
Take a look at the guests who attended:
