With the news that Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday and is currently hospitalized , several Miami Heat players voiced their support for him as he fights for his life.
The Heat signed Odom away from the Los Angeles Clippers in 2003 with an offer sheet as a restricted free agent and he joined forces with the Heat's then-recent lottery picks Dwyane Wade and Caron Butler to form an exciting trio. The 2003-04 season would be Odom's lone season in Miami as he was dealt along with Butler and Brian Grant in the trade with the Los Angeles Lakers for Shaquille O'Neal.
After the news of Odom's condition, past and former Heat teammates were remembering Odom during this difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lamar Odom and his family at this time.
