Preview: Heat host Wizards in nationally televised preseason showdown

New, comments

Who will play for the Heat remains unclear but hey, at least it will be televised!

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

All five Miami Heat starters, the ones you didn't get to see play together because their one and only complete appearance in Houston wasn't televised, were back on the practice court Tuesday at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

In their seventh preseason game, the Heat will host the Washington Wizards tonight on ESPN at 7:30pm but who will actually suit up is still in question.

Hassan Whiteside should be back in the starting five after making his debut against the Rockets and promptly spraining his left ankle, which caused him to miss out on Sunday's road victory versus the Atlanta Hawks.

Hopefully Heat fans will be able to see the projected starting five for themselves, but expect the rest of the sizable training camp roster to play the majority of minutes.

Probable Starters:

Heat:

  • Luol Deng
  • Chris Bosh
  • Hassan Whiteside
  • Dwyane Wade
  • Goran Dragic

Wizards:

  • Marcin Gortat
  • Kris Humphries
  • Otto Porter
  • Bradley Beal
  • John Wall
