Gerald Green had a largely successful debut with the Miami Heat in their first preseason game on Monday against the Charlotte Hornets, scoring 12 points and five rebounds in almost 20 minutes of game action off the bench.
Perhaps most impressive was his showing on defense on several plays, including a block on his defender attempting a midrange shot and this highlight of the game in which he takes advantage of the lack of court awareness of Hornets rookie Jason Washburn early in the fourth quarter to strip him of the ball and slam home this beauty of a dunk.
