Game Story:

After a lengthy break, the Miami Heat (6-3) look to continue their success with a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves (4-6) at the AmericanAirlines Arena at 7:30 pm.

After several welcome days off, the Heat will be rested and incorporating reserve guard Gerald Green, Miami's leading scorer in the preseason, back into the fold as they seek to build on their three-game win streak.

Meanwhile, Minnesota are on a four-game losing streak with starting point guard Ricky Rubio out during that stretch with a hamstring injury. He is questionable for tonight.

Miami already won their first matchup of the season in Minnesota earlier this month by a score of 96-84, led by Dwyane Wade's 25 points.

Probable Starters:

Heat

  • Luol Deng
  • Chris Bosh
  • Hassan Whiteside
  • Dwyane Wade
  • Goran Dragic

Timberwolves

  • Tayshaun Prince
  • Kevin Garnett
  • Karl Anthony-Towns
  • Andrew Wiggins
  • Zach LaVine

Game Quote

Spoelstra on Gerald Green:

"Gerald is an integral part of what we're trying to do," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "We'll work him back in at a healthy rate. What that'll be on Tuesday, I don't know right now."
