The Pacers outdistanced the Heat with a strong second half on Friday night.

First Star

Monta Ellis (IND) 27.4

Ellis played 36:04 and led all players with 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting . He had a game-high tying plus-23 rating along with six steals, six assists, and four defensive rebounds. He also sank four-of-seven from outside, making more three-pointers than the rest of the Pacers combined total while taking only a quarter of the total attempts. The rest of the team was two-for-21.

Second Star

Ian Mahinmi (IND) 24.7

Mahinmi shot seven-for-nine on the night, earning a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards (two offensive). He played for 35:58, earning a plus-17 rating and making all four of his free throws. Two assists, two steals, and a blocked shot rounded out his statline on the night.

After losing three in a row, this was kind of a must-win. - Mahinmi

Third Star

Paul George (IND) 16.3

George played a game-high 37:01 and made seven of his 17 field goal attempts, including one-for-five from beyond the arc. He made all eight of his foul shot attempts, adding eight defensive rebounds, three dimes, a steal, and a game-high tying plus-23 rating.

Fourth Star

Chris Bosh (MIA) 14.9

Miami's player of the game was unfortunately only the fourth best player overall. Bosh led Miami with 36:03 of court time and with 23 points, scored on eight-of-19 shooting. He made one-of-five from three-point range and six-of-eight from the stripe, with 10 rebounds (two offensive), three blocks and a steal.

Fifth Star

Gerald Green (MIA) 11.8

Green rounds out last night's best-of-the-best with his 13 points off the bench for Miami. He played 27:52 and sank half of his 10 field goal attempts, making three-of-five from outside. He added three rebounds, two steals and a block, closing with a minus-3 rating.

Whiteside played for 17:29 in total, making all four of his shot attempts. He scored eight points with 10 rebounds and two blocks.
