ESPN reporters Chris Broussard and Ramona Shelburne are now independently reporting that Suns owner Robert Sarver has "dug in" and doesn't want to trade Goran Dragic.
Word from Phx is that owner has dug in & told folks he won't trade Dragic. That, of course, wouldn't be the 1st time an owner dug in.

Thus far, Sarver sticking to his guns to keep Dragic but Phx still doing due diligence and speaking with teams besides Knicks, Heat, LAL

A lot can (and probably will) change between now and the 3PM deadline but it's definitely worth noting that, as of now, Sarver wants the Suns to keep the disgruntled point guard in Phoenix. This could simply be posturing from Phoenix's side of things to try and get more out of Miami or whoever else they're talking to, or it could be real. Nobody ever really knows with Mr. Sarver.
Sean Deveney of Sporting News is reporting that Sarver's preference is to keep Dragic and trade Isaiah Thomas instead. The Heat would certainly be interested in Thomas if that were the case and it may even be at a discounted price.
Suns holding firm to preference for Isaiah Thomas trade, Im told. Dragic supposed to be heir to Steve Nash, Sarver wants to keep it that way
