The Miami Heat officially announced that Chris Bosh will miss the remainder of the 2014-2015 NBA season while he undergoes treatment to remove blood clots on his lung. This is of course unfortunate news as Miami recently completed a trade to bring Goran Dragic to the Heat, and his pairing with Bosh could have been extremely dangerous.
The good news is that Bosh's prognosis seems to be okay, and that he should make a full recovery. We at Hot Hot Hoops wish nothing but the best for the Bosh family, and hope that Chris gets healthy as soon as possible.
Below is the official statement from the Heat.
