Chris Bosh has not been happy as of late, and with the Miami Heat playing terribly with Dwyane Wade out, nobody can blame him.
While Miami will probably not be contending for a title this year, Bosh will be defending one, but this time at All-Star Weekend where he will be participating once again in the Shooting Stars Challenge. While not the most publicized of the events, I hold this one as a guilty pleasure and am looking forward to seeing ex-NBA players, and current players alike struggle to hit half court baskets.
Bosh will once again contend with his team of last year, featuring Dominique Wilkins and the WNBA's Swin Cash. The event is quite simple, as players shoot from four stations including the aforementioned half court shot. The team who score these baskets the quickest win the game. The four teams all compete in the first round, with only two moving on to the championship round.
Perhaps, Bosh can finally feel the glory of a three-peat here. Whatever the case, it should be incredibly fun to watch. Tune in next Saturday to check it out!
